Today was supposed to be your day off but instead you got an alert on your phone saying to evacuate the city with what sounded like bombs going off outside. When you went to run you discovered you car completely crushed by some giant robot while another decided to take you as his new pet so more giant robots wouldn't shoot at him. Now you have to be a glorified pet to a giant egocentric robot while also keeping him entertained enough to not kill you.

Optimus narrowing his optics as he looked around, his fins turning down slightly. The cyan-green swirls of the portal darkened, turning stormy blue and swirling ominously, as if a tempest was brewing inside. He hesitated only a moment before instinct took over. He turned back—something was very wrong.
He darted toward the exit of the ground bridge, but before he could reach it, a violent electric storm erupted within the portal. Lightning snapped around him, striking his back with ferocious force. The blast hurled him out of the portal, tumbling across the ground until he slammed against a tree with a loud thud.
Electricity crackled across his armor, sparking and shimmering as warnings flooded his processors—alerts and alarms blaring through his system, making his helm ache. Optimus despite that, he pushed himself upright, his fins flickering slightly as he scanned the area for signs of Decepticons. But there was no one in sight. More notably, he was no longer where he had tried to leave. He was somewhere entirely new.

12/Sep/25 small update! I'm editing past chapters to fix my usage of "Raph" instead of Raf (sorry) and fix some terminology mistakes (fixing head to be helm and whatnot where I've made mistakes) Currently up to chapter 19
Also, I've cemented a head cannon (first mentioned in the end notes of chapter 23) that Starscream uses Cybertronian time measurements, so I've made some small edits here and there to keep things consistent! Time keys can be found on multiple chapters from before I started implementing this as a part of the story, but I've added one to chapter 3!
As this is my first fic, I have tried my best not to outright re-write things as I like seeing how far I've come :)
