chuuya and dazai are 18 but are pretending to be 16, due to them having to pretend to be first year students as they are body guards for 1-A, so everything is of legal age, mentions of past non-con/rape, mentions of suicide, suicide attempts, you have been warned.

“I’ve never asked anything of you before, so please if you ever cared for me at all please help me, I know you work for the government so please” Ango froze, looking closely at Dazai, he’d never heard him this desperate, scared. It honestly unnerved him, what could make Dazai, the demon prodigy scared? He almost didn’t want to find out.
“What do you mean Dazai? I’m with the port mafia.”
“Oh cut the crap Ango, you know I’m not that stupid”
Ango sighed, “What do you need help with?”
Dazai faltered for a moment, “I need you to help me get Oda and his pups out of the mafia and out of danger. And…” He trailed off, looking down at his hands, he said softly “and I need help getting my pups out as well.”

“Osamu, don’t make me angry. I thought you said you hated it when I was aggressive. So don’t make me have to be, or you’ll be bleeding everywhere tomorrow.”
The dog barks. Barks truths. The dog is cruel like that. It hated those it claims to love. It abuses them, makes snow white skin turn black and blue. Staining it red. Gentle hands made to kill, gentle hands made to hurt. Calloused, scarred, no matter how hard you claw and bite and scream. No matter what. The dog gets you. And when it gets you, nothing can ever go back to being the same.
“Please don’t, the mess would take ages to clean.”
Dazai Osamu hates dogs.

Ah, yes that is the sound of Chuuya’s footsteps coming down the stairs that Dazai cannot see. He’d recognize that walking pattern anywhere.
Even while drugged and half dead, Dazai puts a performative grin on his face, fully expecting some snide remark from Chuuya as he turns the corner where he can see into the cell Dazai is in.
Dazai watches in amusement as Chuuya freezes upon his vibrant blue eyes falling upon Dazai, and the bandaged man grins wider.
Now, all Dazai has to do is get his mouth to function well enough to request Chuuya’s assistance in breaking the manacles. Not that he really needs the help. Yeah, it would speed up his break out, but if Chuuya is in a pissy mood, he’ll make do and break out on his own.
Dazai is not expecting what happens next.

In which BEAST Nakahara Chuuya shows up in a universe where Dazai is alive, and makes it his mission to claim this Dazai as his own, the current Chuuya be damned.

This is Dazai's fault, and Chuuya will not let that fact go, but that doesn't mean he's not unhappy with the idea. He just wishes that Dazai would actually talk about this before inviting Tachihara over, or at least talk about it with Tachihara first.
