It's the summer of 1985, and Eddie Munson has gotten the perfect job at Starcourt Mall, the record store is his new favorite place. The only problem that comes with the job is the view, Scoops Ahoy. It's not the ice cream place itself that gets on his nerves, it's who works there that annoys him. Steve Harrington, also known as the former king of Hawkins of High. He could just not go in, but the ice cream is very good, and something about the place makes it very easy to write a song, so he deals with the infuriating presence. What he doesn’t know is that they are both slowly falling for each other.

A gruff looking guy sits there with a leather jacket, pulling his dark curly hair into a ponytail with a hair tie and then grabbing a note book from his backpack, resting it on his thigh while he started chewing on a pencil he grabbed from his jacket pocket. Urgh, kinda disgusting.
His legs were bouncing, his head nodding to a beat that wasn't there. His face going trough twenty different emotions in a couple seconds, scribbling something onto the paper, huffing unsatisfied, pausing. scribbling. Sighing. Scribbling. Heartwretching reason, yeah, but Eddie Munson has grown to accept more of what his possible fate was. So, really, he couldn’t exactly give a flying fuck at this point in his life. Not the pull he feels towards a certain jock, not the way the other’s laugh is comparable to his favorite music, not the fact that every second he meets him he finds that the mold the other created was not something he expected, and certainly not the fact that it seems like everytime he loses something he can find glimpses of it on the other’s person.

He should go. He should leave. He should never agree to do another drug deal anywhere semi-public again.
But Billy looks pretty pissed—and the blonde is on some pretty heavy steroids. This random ass guy that was unlucky enough to catch them in the act of an exchange didn’t deserve to get beaten all to shit. Best-case scenario, Eddie is just back up to Billy intimidating the guy into keeping his mouth shut—worse-case scenario, he prevents a murder from happening during one of his own drug deals.
