Summary
Harvey and Mike's last night before Harvey has to drop him off to prison. Harvey blames himself and wants to take his place, and Mike tries to convince him it's okay, that *they'll* be okay. Harvey doesn't really believe him, because everyone leaves.
Harvey is very soft and vulnerable in this one. It's established relationship with no Rachel, so they've had time for Harvey to open up and let Mike in.
—It was slow, and soft, and sweet: everything no one thought Harvey could be.
But Mike knew. He always knew.
And now Harvey was expected to watch the man who’d become Harvey’s entire world get locked behind bars — to go to jail for something he didn’t do.
It was all Harvey.
He’d tried to pin Mike’s hands behind his back, to verbally attack, to goad him, to make him hate Harvey. But Mike wouldn’t budge or love him any less. Harvey knew he wouldn’t. It still killed him.—
