10,000 years after Cybertronian society was formed under the guidance of the 13 Primes, 6,000 years after the formation of the Cybertronian Empire, and 2,000 years after its reformation into the Republic of Cybertron, the system of governance is on the verge of total collapse.
Complacency, corruption, and apathy have led the Republic down the path of ruin. A regular day of mining turns chaotic when an unknown creature somehow found its way into the energon mines. However, when they find what had caused the chaos, it became a shock. A small, frightened sparkling had somehow found her way into the mines now found herself in the hands of someone most of the miners would consider to not be responsible for even caring for a sparkling. A red and blue bot named Orion Pax. With the two stunned, Orion found himself in an awkward situation. Especially as this sparkling bore some resemblance to Orion and his closest friend, D-16.
With no record of any new sparklings in the medical database, the two young mining bots find themselves forced to care for this sparkling as it was quickly decided she would become a mining bot just like them. Which left them both scrambling to learn to even how to care for a sparkling.
And that was made even more difficult as it was soon discovered that this sparkling's vocal processor was not functional. However, as time goes by, they learn to teach the young spark to communicate without speech, and discover she had an extreme fear of Sentinel Prime.

A chance encounter with Soundwave leaves Megatron in a serious condition, his mind shattered and trapped in his past as D16. The successor is a young sparkling Orion Pax and is future the 14th Prime who had lost his family then later on meets a new friend named D-16 while causing some trouble. However, Sentinel is greatly angry and jealous that Orion will be the new Prime before him and decides to take out the future Prime in order to get the position. Orion will soon know what it means to be a Prime while dealing with the rough road ahead…

Summary
The war between Autobot and Decepticons was put on hold when the Quintessons attacked, forcing both factions to unite against a deadlier, common foe.
Optimus Trion, General Commander of the Autobots, is war-weary and tired. Fighting alongside an old enemy, a once-friend, perhaps something more in another life; Megatron, General Commander of the Decepticons. His faith in Primus and the way of the old Primes had been waning over vorns, that is, until two mysterious Primes appeared out of nowhere.
Now it's a race between which side can capture one or both of the Primes, unfortunately, they both kept disappearing and no one knew where they went.
Orion Nox hated the Matrix, maybe he even hated Primus, he just hated the responsibility that was suddenly on both his and his Amica; Dion's shoulders. He didn't want to be a Prime, didn't want Dion to be a Prime, but dammit, Cybertron needed them, and he hated the Quintessons more. Dion, unfortunately, seemed to be excited about the whole thing.
Now if only his human self could stop calling him and Dion magical girls…
