“You seem to like ladybugs.” The kid nodded, his blue-green eyes fixated on the three bugs in his hand.
“They… they’re my friends.”
Leone hummed, eyes on the sunset. He and the child had waited for a couple of hours; no parents arrived. From the corner of his eye, he could see the kid smiling softly while playing with the bugs, a sight that made his heart clench in anguish; because how could someone abandon their child like that? It was unacceptable, and, in that moment, he knew he had to do something or the kid wouldn’t survive for long.
“C’mon, Coccinella, you’re coming with me to the station.”
"'Coccinella’?”
“You didn’t want to give me your name, and you like ladybugs, might as well call you one, hm?”
[ Abbacchio finds an abandoned child while on patrol duty, unaware that such encounter would completely change his life. ]

The guy(?) from before must have brought him in, Leone sort of remembers stumbling into a doorway at one point. There was a TV set, nice carpet and bookshelves filled to the brim with records. He gets up, and immediately lies back down because he feels so sore from that ‘rest’ on the sofa. Abbachio tries again because dammit his mother did not raise a quitter, but then again she also did not raise her son to be an alcoholic."
TLDR:
Abbachio passes out drunk, joins Passione, falls in love, and co-parents a traumatized teen. all while battling the world's worst withdrawals.

Set years after the events of Golden Wind. Giorno is the Don, and Bruno is his right-hand man and a Capo. And Leone... is the Chief of Police (despite his chagrin, mind you) and teaches at Il Vento Nuovo University. There he meets young Stand User Ray Starr, who has the same Stand as him.
An enemy with past knowledge connects the dots and tries to use the boy to get a slow and painful revenge on Bruno. Thus, time travel happens. Not only does Ray have to save himself, he has to find a way to save others as well, because he is Bucciarati by heart, not only by blood.Series
