Summary
The most common folktale among the Ancient Nords, was their creation myth. Legends say that in her grief over her beloved husband's death, Kyne unleashed her wrath upon Tamriel. The winds were said to be her shrieks of fury and the relentless rains her tears as she cursed the Elven Gods. When she finally calmed, she drew a trembling breath and sighed deeply- exhaling upon the Throat of the World. In her breath and the stirred up snow, the first Nords were born.
The true events, however, are much more complex.
