Unfortunately, Amelia's talent also catches the attention of one Mycroft Holmes, and despite her refusal to take up his offer two years ago to play spy, Mycroft Holmes always gets his way, in the end. 2010, a string of mysterious, not so suicides ends up resulting in Amelia finding herself meeting and becoming partners with Sherlock Holmes, and the rest, as they say, is history.
