I was listening to Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley when Ryan fucking Howard suddenly popped up in my mind and I can’t stop thinking about him whenever I hear this song. Pam looked over at the door to Micheal’s office. Jim followed her gaze: Micheal was inside, talking to Ryan--and a camera--about some ridiculous thing, thoroughly distracted.
She looked back at him. “Dwight might.”
He sighed minutely, glancing over at where Dwight was still focused on his work. “Not if we go slowly,” he whispered, deciding this was a safari. “Don’t spook him.” He began to inch slowly towards the door, and Pam carefully followed him.
“No sudden movements,” she said under her breath. Jim grinned. “The Shruticus Dwighticus will become startled if his eyes detect too much motion.”
They made it around the corner, trying not to giggle. And with that, they were out the door.
