The guard drops Jane. He is screaming bloody murder. Jane is on the ground, gasping for breath, gasping up wildly, trying to get a read on the rapidly changing parameters. What is happening?! Elena is on the ground too, very nearby Jane. They make eye contact for a long moment, and Jane automatically reaches out to grasp Elena’s shoulder, pull her girlfriend in close. Elena’s face is covered in blood and … chunks of brain? Is any of it hers?! Jane feels like being sick. Elena’s eyes are as wide and confused as Jane feels like her own are.
“SHIT!” yells Bosley. “Jane! Elena! Retreat NOW!”
