  In the five years since the Red War, while most of the Last City has been focused on recovering, the Speaker's partner Hugo Delacroix has been slowly driven mad from grief. Desperate to find some way to bring him back to life, he has been fervently searching for an answer or a loophole, anything to save the Speaker from his fate.
