Richie becomes the target. Bill defends him like a brother, furious when anyone questions why Richie is worth saving. Eddie hovers at Richie’s side, patching him up, yelling at him for being reckless — and realizing his protectiveness hides something more.
When the clown comes back, so do the fears. But this time, Richie isn’t disposable. Not if the Losers have anything to say about it.

Mags glances over at Frankie, and then back to Richie, blinking. “He’s eleven, Richie. He’s bound to be upset with you every now and then.”
And when Richie stares at her like she’s crazy, she continues, “Richie, I don’t think you realize how much that little boy cares about you. He’s going to be upset with you, maybe even yell at you, but that’s what children do sometimes; you had your moments where you wanted nothing to do with your father and I, and then thirty minutes later, you’re coming down the stairs and talking to us like nothing happened.”

All grown up and with children of their own, The Losers Club decide to take a trip away from Derry, leaving their children with the strict rules of staying together and staying at home for safety. Robert Gray, the oldest of Richie Tozier and Eddie Kaspbrask's children and oldest over all, decides the group of kids should go investigate the old broken house down the road. They poke around in places they aren't supposed to and unknowingly wake up a demon from what's supposed to be it's 27 year long nap. They fight said demon before they're parents return, but little did they know the demon latched on to their most vulnerable link, and isn't planning on letting go just yet...
This story is an alternate version of the original IT films (2017/2019). It is a work inspired by a few story lines: IT (chapter 1 and 2), the Netflix series, Stranger Things, and the A24 film Talk To Me, and others. There will be similar aspects to the films/show, like powers or scenes. If copyright claims present themselves, I will immediately delete this work as fast as possible.

Eddie finally confesses to Richie. They move in together, and even though they’re taking it slow, Eddie is nothing if not optimistic despite the complete lack of physical intimacy. As time drags on, though, he can’t help but get more and more desperate, and you know what they say about desperate times calling for desperate measures.
So, Eddie launches a plan: if Richie doesn’t want to make the first move, Eddie won’t force him, but he certainly will give him the kick in the pants to get there.
(Or: the fic where Eddie is convinced that he and Richie are dating. He confessed and everything, after all. Richie, unfortunately, never got that memo. Hijinks ensue.)
