Summary
“You are well, my love?” Drew finally asked, breaking the silence but refusing to let go of you. You tried to look up at him to no avail—you were held too close, and he was far, far too strong.
“Yes, yes, I’m… Oh my gods, I’m alright.” You laughed, half out of nervousness and half out of relief, as you stood up a little straighter. “What about you?”
“Me? Ah, yes, I suppose…” Drew trailed off, standing up in kind, his hands drifting to your shoulders. His gloves accentuated his claws. “I would say that I am quite alright."
