Summary
After Arthur disobeyed his father and retrieved the Mortaeus flower for Merlin's cure, Arthur's frantic pleading to save Merlin led to a misunderstanding that actually convinced Uther to take the flower to Gaius.
Now all Arthur has to do is explain to Merlin why Uther thinks they are lovers.
And while Uther is supportive of the relationship, he requires it kept secret. But in his paranoia, Uther misinterprets every innocent interaction between the two as something far more intimate, to the embarrassment of everyone involved.
And then the knights begin showing up...
Update 27/04/2024: This is long and in-process. So consider a break between story arcs!
Arc 1 - (chapters 1-32, 90k words) What happens when you accidentally tell your father you're gay and in love with Merlin and he ships it hard? You make it true.
Arc 2 - (chapters 33-70, 110k words) What happens when your father sends you to court someone you have no interest in? Side quests and Gwaine.
Arc 3 - (chapters 71+, in progress) What happens when your father invites every eligible woman to Camelot so you can find your wife like you promised in exchange for saving Merlin? Chaos. -

“You know I would never take a bride of whom you would not approve, don’t you, Merlin?” The question was uttered gently, so out of the dusky-nightfall-blue that Merlin started at it. His heart picked up speed, “Or one who wouldn’t approve of you.”
- Post-abandonment fic set during Mithian's stay in Camelot.

Summary
Newly betrothed to the heartbroken king of Camelot, Princess Mithian arrived in Camelot to a grand welcome and a great feast. King Arthur was breathtakingly handsome, strong, brave, and the greatest warrior in all the five kingdoms. His vivid blue eyes made her weak in the knees and his smile, though touched with sadness, still filled her with warmth. She’d left her kingdom of Nemeth fully expecting to be miserable and unhappy, being forced to marry a stranger. But after meeting Arthur, she found herself daring to believe in destiny and inexplicably drawn to the king's manservant Merlin, who was hiding a powerful secret.

Summary
Arthur had never been a particularly emotionally aware man, so it really should not have surprised him that he was in love with someone without knowing that he was. At least, according to Princess Mithian. But if he wasn't even aware of his own heart, what else was he not aware of?

Summary
King Arthur sets out to keep his promise to the spirit of the Druid boy by repealing his father's ban on magic. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done, for reasons including but not limited to the following:
(1) He can't change the law until he understands magic better, but no sorcerer is willing to explain magic to him until he changes the law;
(2) The sorcerers all have some strange obsession with Merlin, which is awakening all sorts of feelings in Arthur that he really doesn't fancy examining too closely;
(3) He is starting to feel like the butt of some Druid-population-wide inside joke involving the mysterious phenomenon called Emrys; and
(4) Oh yeah, Morgana is still trying to kill him.
Thus he embarks on a journey of discovery, diplomacy, accountability, and self-improvement, and maybe even falls in love along the way.

Summary
When Merlin tried to reason with him about Gwen, he was pushed away, Arthur’s trust shattered, clearly desiring time to heal alone.
Which left Merlin to pick up the pieces of the kingdom’s most recent drama, like always, and fit them together again, even if it wasn’t his fault. And it seemed like the only way he could fix things was by chipping off bits of himself to replace the tidbits that got lost in the fight.
Or, the aftermath of Lancelot du Lac. Gwen is banished, Lancelot is dead (again), Arthur and Merlin find comfort in each other (eventually).
