“With me, John?” Mr. Price asked, earning a soft sigh and a confident nod from John. Price was always good about that sort of thing, keeping his students interested, never getting angry. He was a little impatient, but he would never yell or embarrass them. Although John was the most frequent of his students to space out, it wasn’t like he didn’t try to pay attention. He really did, but sometimes it just happened. That's what comes with being on the spectrum, John guessed.

Summary
Simon “Ghost” Riley is considered by many the most dangerous man in the 141 if not the whole British Army. Known to strike terror in his enemies. Yet, there’s one thing that only John Price knows. Ghost is in fact an Omega. Outside of Price, his fellow teammates believe he is an Alpha. Ghost does nothing to discourage these beliefs.

Strange, he thinks to himself, how what started off as an annoyance has now become habit. It’s a new feeling for Ghost, or at least, not one he’s experienced since being Simon—preferring someone’s company over anyone else, without it being anchored by command. Soap’s presence feels like putting on a thick woolen coat on a cold winter’s day, and if Ghost’s own company can’t reciprocate that for Soap, well, at least he can take care of the physical chills.
