Bookmarker's Notes
For all those who weren't content to follow "good" blindly anymore than "bad"; who were shamed for being different; who were punished for wanting acknowledgement or appreciation; who helped fight the good and necessary fight -- but were reviled for using subterfuge instead of showmanship; who fought to win because the enemy would. not. stop. coming back otherwise; who kept dirtied hands concealed from the eyes of the innocent, and their pain private, rather than baring their broken soul to eagerly prying eyes, or lashing out at others to prove that they feel what (and as deeply as) outsiders judge adequate for their crime of the self-sufficiency of their survival.
.
Percy Weasley could have easily become another Peter Pettigrew; that he did not is in no way due to any support from the so-called "good guys", for they offered none, and in fact rather offered the opposite of it.
.
Those who don't learn, and all that; no wonder the British wizarding world has a new dark lord every half-century or so. It's rather an undeserved-miracle that they don't have *more* of them, more freqeuently.
