Sam looked at his reflection in the mirror, seeing his hair that was slowly making it past his shoulder.
Looking at his hair he could feel every injury he had gotten on the road. Feel how he felt every time his father made him leave a new school to find the next monster. He felt the fear of when his father told him to never come back if he went to college, but he also felt the freedom of finally leaving. Of escaping that life.
