Summary
Cressida changes into her goalie gear and heads out to the first media station, and she can’t believe what she sees, or more accurately, who it’s him, Roy.
He went to college with her, and while the two of them never really talked, she always thought he was cute. Unfortunately, she was always too focused on hockey to worry about relationships and never made a move.
“Roy, right?” She asks him, flipping up her goalie mask to make sure he can see her face, hoping he recognizes her.
“Yeah.” Roy says before turning around, and his eyes go wide with recognition as he asks, “Hi, Cressida, right?”
“Yeah,” She smiles at him before asking, “What are you doing here?”
“I’m the Media person that’ll do your little things like interviews and funny bits,” Roy tells her.
“So I’ll be seeing a lot of you then, will I?” She asks just the barest hint of a flirt in her tone.
“You will indeed,” Roy tells her, and Cressida thinks she hears the hint of a flirtatious tone in his voice as well.
