Changkyun and Jooheon are both part of a dying race of aliens from the far reaches of space, in search of a third mate to complete their family clan so they can begin mating. After finding that humans are the most compatible with their own species, they set out for Earth, where Changkyun runs into a very human Kihyun while researching human courting and mating rituals in the public library. Changkyun is instantly taken with the human, and decides to make attempts to begin courting him when circumstances fall dire with his mate, Jooheon. Jooheon has fallen ill, and if he doesn't complete a mating cycle within the next 24 hours, then Jooheon will never be able to have children and runs the risk of dying because of this. Faced with no other options, he abducts Kihyun onto his ship with the intent of mating with him and making him the third and final member of their family clan.
