Getting trapped in the prison mess hall during an evacuation because the zombies were attacking - it's just the kind of irony that would happen to Dean. But the best curveball life throws at him turns out to be a blue-eyed guy that nearly ends his life.
When the first attacks began, Castiel locked himself in his house and waited for the government to rescue him. The last thing he expects is for a green-eyed stranger to show him the world has changed and maybe for the better.
The two set off on a thrilling adventure to reach the West Coast and find Dean’s brother. Along the way they meet some new people, reunite with some old friends and witness some wild things, but as long as they have each other, no obstacle is too great. Not even the deadly virus that has taken over the entire world.
