The doorbell rings. Loud, clear, and painful. The noise reverberates throughout Sebastian's head, his new, aquatic ears now much too sensitive to his old bell. The house is silent, the only noise being the shaky breathing he is emitting. Nobody should be at the door, nobody should be delivering anything, and definitely nobody needs to see him. Sebastian Solace has been dead for some time now, the world knows it, the company knows it, Sebastian knows it, so who doesn't know? Or worse, who does know? Does this mystery person know the truth? Do they wish to hurt him? The bell rings again, unmistakable. They won't leave. He has no choice. The floorboards creak underneath Sebastian as he slithers towards the door slowly, not built to carry the weight of a giant monster. Only able to wrap two claws around the doorknob, he swears he can feel the cold sting of the copper through his knit gloves.
