A month has passed since G.U.N had allowed Sonic a Shadow to live free as partners. A month has passed since Robotnik’s disappearance. A month has passed, and all seems to be right with the world.
But as Sonic and Shadow truly begin to experience life as soulmates, another disaster begins. One on a scale neither teen could imagine. Love and strength won’t be enough to vanquish this foe, one of destruction and cosmos. Will Sonic and Shadow have the willpower to press on and bring peace to the world and themselves?
Or will they succumb to a fate written from above?

As Shadow, Maria, and their friends begin to uncover this strange Maria's vengeful plot that is devouring multiverses, Shadow and Maria must reckon with the forces that brought the two of them together - and tore them apart - in the first place.
