Summary
Sonic attempts to return to his normal life after the whole Shatterverse fiasco, but his reality flips out in a different way. An alternate dimension Sonic and Shadow wind up in Green Hill, after their villain uses their own version of a Paradox Prism to banish the two hedgehogs.
What is even more strange, besides having another Sonic and Shadow around, is just how different they are. Bizarro Shadow is a cocky and optimistic hedgehog with super speed, and Bizarro Sonic is a grouch and their universe’s Ultimate Lifeform. Just to make things all the more complicated and confusing, their Bizarro twins are apparently a couple.
After Sonic convinces Shadow to retrieve the Prism to help their doppelgängers return home, while Tails is about to test out his newly invented dimension portal device, an argument causes Sonic and Shadow to end up in their doppelgängers’ universe. Now Sonic and Shadow are stuck together in an unfamiliar world with an unhinged villain, and no way to get back home.
And what’s worse? Neither Sonic nor Shadow can get the fact their doppelgängers are dating out of their heads. Who would have thought traversing the Shatterverse was the less confusing situation?
