Summary
Bandanna Waddle Dee did not believe a single bit when the self-proclaimed king/leader of Dream Land, Meta Knight, claimed that he took out the Star Rod from the Fountain of Dreams, and split it into eight parts he spread between himself and his underlings, for good reasons. After all, the guy almost tried to change the little hero's homeworld for the worst before!
...unfortunately for our young hero, the story turns out to not be as simple as it sounds by the time the Star Rod is reassembled.

Summary
Bandanna Waddle Dee finds himself begrudgingly allying with Magolor, self-proclaimed “charmingly courageous space pirate” and theme park owner aspirant, to find the pieces of the Master Crown to tame “the dragon of Halcandra.” This is a goal that Bandanna only helps with because he can sense that Dark Matter is involved, and nobody deserves to deal with such a fearsome opponent on their own.
At least, along the way, Bandanna meets one new and two old, solid friends, which helps him stay cool in the face of the new ally’s attitude.
