Summary
Neville stared up at her with tears in his eyes, lifting his arms as he saw his mother. Alice ran to the crib to grab him, as silence engulfed the house.
Alice turned to the door, looking into the darkness of the hall. Light footsteps made their way across the hall and Alice leveled her wand at the half-open doorway.
With a creak, the door opened. Standing before Alice was a man cloaked in black. Alice grit her teeth as she looked upon this vile man, her grip on her wand tightening as the man raised his own.
“Avada Kedavra!”
Green light shot across the room, landing in Voldemort’s chest. His eyes went wide as his pale skin cracked and exploded out with a dark energy. Alice was flung against the crib, shards of wood flew out in all directions, and she felt a warm liquid drip down her head. Neville’s crying once again filled the house as the only sound.
Alice lifted herself off her feet and looked over her son. He had no injuries except a cut across his forward, probably from flying shrapnel, in the shape of a lightning bolt. Taking her son into her arms, tears fell down her face. Her son was alive.

Summary
After a relatively peaceful childhood thanks to their parents, the Potter triplets are ready to take on Hogwarts with their best friends: the Malfoy twins, Neville and Susan. Despite being very much aware of their fame in the Wizarding World, they just hope to have a mostly normal year and make friends who are interested in who they are and not their reputation.
Unfortunately, it's not to be as simple as not only is Dumbledore planning to try and gain control over the triplets to find out who is the one mentioned in the prophecy so he can lead that one to their death, but a certain dark wizard is trying to get his body back as well as get revenge for that halloween night and doesn't care about who he has to hurt to succeed in that goal.
Beyond that, forces that are beyond even Dumbledore's knowledge and that have kept themselves low for centuries are starting to take an interest in the happenings in the Wizarding World and if they don't watch out, the triplets and those they care about might find themselves in a game far larger than they could ever comprehend

And in the midst of it all, Amelia Bones was given a choice. Raise Harry Potter under the name of her dead niece, or wallow in her grief as the Last of the Boneses. She made her decision, and so Amelia and Flannery Bones lived as a family, albeit an odd one.
When Flannery came out as transgender, it was fine. However she took the name Susan, and Amelia felt her heart break even as she approved, but told her now-daughter/niece of the truth.
This leaves a young Susan Bones to enter Hogwarts, eight years after the official end of the war, and ten after the defeat of Lord Voldemort.
