“I’m Mari,” she said.
She’s skinny, and pale. It’s the two things keeping her from being a conventional beauty - her cheeks a little too sallow, her skin a few shades too unhealthy, her eyes a little too caved-in.
Hero hardly notices, though - because her smile lights up her features, fills out her expression like sunlight breaking through the ice frosting over the surface of a lake.
“I’ve never written any poetry,” she confesses, a little self-effacing lilt to her smile. Like a silent can you believe that?
She makes one of the best first impressions Hero’s ever seen.

Summary
Ranboo so desperately wishes this was just a nightmare he could wake himself up from, but the static that creeps up and around his senses is all too real. All too reminiscent of a time in his life he thought he left behind him.
His hold on the axe slackens before it falls away completely. The dull thud of his weapon hitting the ground is the last clear sound he hears before the static in his head grows to become overwhelming.
He stumbles forwards onto his knees at the intruder's feet, mind revolting violently as he loses control. His screams stay trapped within his skull as he feels his arm reach out to the hand extended to him against his will.
He almost wishes that he'd be taken under like all the times before, but something is different.
There's a purple hue to everything, a detail he's never remembered or found written down in his book. He's still seeing and processing and remembering.
Something is wrong.

Shuffling into the bathroom, he stared himself in the mirror and was immediately glad that he wasn’t a baby. As he went back into his bedroom, slightly more awake now, he looked at the walls of his room and suddenly wanted to cry.
All Might.
Everywhere.
Every wall was covered in pictures of his nemesis’ face. Every shelf was filled with collectible All Might figurines. He had slept on a goddamn All Might blanket. Wait a second. When he’d looked in the mirror - oh god he was wearing a fricking All Might onesie.
All For One wondered if he could just go back to his dying older body. At least then he wouldn’t have to live in hell itself.

The leaves crunched gently under her shoes, and Marinette stayed uncomfortably aware of the sounds of her own breathing as she walked. The stillness of the forest was oppressive. Not just the silence, but the fact that no matter how far she walked, no matter how sure she was she hadn’t backtracked, that every tree and shrub and leaf on the ground was different and unique, never repeating, it all felt like that same, endless grey and white, stretching on forever. The sky - or, the canopy, rather - never darkened or changed. The air didn’t get any colder. There were no signs of the city through the trees, nor people or animals. Only herself, and the trees, and the bright flickering of the purple butterfly.

Grim decides that after dying three times, the boy who lived will Fucking Live this time. She gives him a boon of sorts as well as time to get advice from his parents. Then he is returned to the day before he received his first Hogwarts letter.
The Boon in question is a sort of ability that makes Harry Potter into a video game player character. From there things spiral a bit out of Grim's control, but she's fine with that. At least it's somewhat entertaining.

And Hana loved her, to the depth of her soul, her sad smile she wore like a shield, like an armor, sharp on her face like a knife, a preemptive self defense, that smile that only softened around Hana herself. She loved her, but that love was not enough to save her.
