For the millionth time, New York City has fallen.
A video has gone viral.
A woman jumped from a building and died. Moments later, she gets up and walks away as if it hadn't happened.
Since then, all of its citizens, including some members of the Avengers, have gone missing—leaving only Steve and Bucky. However, they can only hear each other in the distance. The meeting is impossible.
Monsters patrol the streets, making it harder for Steve and Bucky to reunite. The woman in the video is there, and the Super Soldiers know her, only they can't remember her. Their lack of memory only creates more monsters. To make matters worse, there's a Winter Soldier replica on the loose, and it won't stop until Steve, Bucky, and the woman are dead.

Sent on what should be a long and tedious, but extremely simple, mission, Gurathin finds himself an unwitting target of The Company's shadow client and is forced to join up with a free-hold survey team way over their heads, and a rogue SecUnit that can't seem to catch a break.
Gurathin is assigned as a systems engineer to DeltFall during the ill fated survey, with orders to collect information for the shadow client, GrayCris, that could lead to the location of alien remnants. After their Security Unit and a researcher are mauled by giant fauna not in the information packet, and experiencing satellite outages, PresAux reaches out to DeltFall for assistance, and Gurathin is sent to assist, although no gift is truly free. Left with PresAux with orders to clone their data for DeltFall, Gurathin narrowly avoids sharing the fate of the rest of the team. Now he's stuck with a group of hippies, a Murderbot, and a fellow DeltFall survivor he's never seen before.
