Summary
Wei Wuxian has been looking forward to the clan's Unity Ceremony so he could pick a mate and start his own family. But as he participates and finds the Omega scent that he's drawn to, he finds that not everything is as wonderful as he had hoped it to be and that Lan Wangji has suffered in the hands of those who should have protected him most.
Lan Wangji has been told since he presented as an Omega that it was his duty to marry and have a family, but all he wants is his freedom..to cultivate and grow stronger so he can break away from his Clan to have a chance at the life he wants. When he meets the Alpha that chose his scent, Wei Wuxian is not the same man that he remembered from their youth. He continues to surprise him the more time they spend together.

Summary
Many years ago, when Jiang Cheng presented as an omega, his mother forced him to swear that he would never reveal the truth of what happened on that day. And so he did, he swore to renounce his true nature, the promise heavy on his heart, but he kept it, or at least he tried. For 20 years he fought hard to keep his omega buried deep within him. However, one can only deny themselves as much, before they break. And Jiang Cheng does, he does break in the middle of the pursuit after the evil poisoning their world. Fortunatelly enough, there is someone waiting to catch him.
In short - Jiang Cheng pretends to be an alpha until his body fights off the effects of the suppressants, and it, oh so fortunatelly, happens when he is chasing after the demonic cultivator who is ready to lose his soul if it'll bring him his revenge.

“Ah. Burger Man,” he says stoically. Wei Wuxian has a really hard time telling if the man is serious or fucking with him. But given that he has never seen the man being anything other than serious, he assumes that he’s probably drunk.
“Yeah, I’m the Burger Man. And you’re Lan Wangji. Do you normally spend your Friday nights sitting on the street like this?” he asks.
Lan Wangji looks around, as if he had not been aware they were on a street in the middle of the city. Had he blacked out? How much had he drunk? Was he on any drugs? There was no real way for Wei Wuxian to know.
“Do not,” Lan Wangji finally responds, frowning at the pavement like it’s its fault that he’s sitting on it.
Or, Wei Wuxian is slightly obsessed with the Hot Customer at work.
