This world has 6 genders there's the normal male, female and non-binary along with these genders There are more known as dynamics. There are three dynamics Alpha,Beta and Omega
Omegaverse
Alphas are the dominant or “masculine” ones . ·They are generally large and sometimes slightly intimidating in appearance. ·They possess what is commonly referred to as an “Alpha Voice” which is basically a very commanding tone that Omegas, and sometimes Betas, feel compelled to obey but this can back fire due to a select few omegas having a resistance to the voice they have ruts every month that last about a week or longer depending on the alpha. Alphas take up 30% of the population and most hold high positions in the work place.
Betas. Betas are basically your everyday human with some exceptions. One is that they have a very weak scent, they have one but their glands do not produce it as heavily as alphas or omegas. They cant get omegas pregnant but female betas can get pregnant by male alphas and male betas can get female betas pregnant. Betas take up about 60% of the population and are usually the working class.
Omegas are seen as the more meeker and submissive of the dynamics being the crown jewels of society. Omegas take up 10% of the total population they go into heat every month and it can last about a week. Omega's are the only ones who can get pregnant regardless of gender besides Beta females and Alpha females of course.
Scents.Everyone also has their own sort of scent no matter how faint or strong from the sweetest chocolate to the smokey smell of fire. Each scent is unique not one is the same and each scent is attracted to another. These scents can be enhanced when they are effected by deep emotion or by a heat or rut. When a scent smells sour it is typically a sign of illness.
Maturing Wings are revealed when a person is usually 11 or 9 years old its starts as small nubs festering underneath the skin and then it gradually begins to grow with feathers beginning to grow around the afflicted area, until the weight and pain becomes unbearable.The wings will then burst from the back revealing the wing color. It doesn't matter if the person is male or female the wing color is typically dictated by said persons family history, body type or background.
Wing types
Black wings are natural-born leader they are strong-willed and are known to be stronger than the rest of the population they are almost always alphas and they can be both male and female. They are dominantly alphas with some rare betas they tend to be calm in the face of danger, with a wingspan of up to 9-12 feet. Their wings come in all types of colors from the darkest midnight black to a stormy black. But they can be over controlling to those in their flock.
Red wings signal a rather brash personality which can often lead to them being stereotyped as hard-headed fools who are quick to use their fist, and while that can be true they are so much more than that. With their amazing agility and loyalty they are able to be much quicker on their feet than most wing types. They are also very social with 70% of red wings forming packs during or right after getting an education. And with their smaller wingspan (up to 5-10 feet) making them much more adept when in the air.
Blue wings are seen as the most quick-witted amoung the wing types, which seems to be true seeing as up to 80% get into STEM orriented jobs. They are incredibly calm under pressure and are able to adapt to almost any flock environment. They can have wingspans of up to 4-8 feet. However due to their smaller wings their air time is significantly shorter as well as their small wings being vulnerable to cold air.
Green wings are often seen as extremely seductive, it's said that the avian's with the most vibrant Green wings having an almost hypnotic effect. Many green-winged avian's report that they have a very strong impulse to lay about in the highest green tree they can find. Their wings are also great for camouflage due to their ability to cover themselves using their wings causing them to seemingly blend into the green background of trees their wingspan can reach to 7-5 feet.
Yellow wings are sometimes seen as the most proprietorial of the wing types usually seen huddling around hordes of possessions consisting of things flock-mates, sentimental belongings and their mate. They also tend to be the most driven than any other dynamic as they almost always achieve their goals no matter how outlandish they may seem. They generally have a wingspan of up to 5-9 feet
Purple wings are considered to be in a higher class than the average avian with purple wing history leading all the way back to olden royalty they tend to have an urge to adorn their wings with all things bright and shiny. Purple wings are also the only type of avian that can possess tail feathers attached to the area right above their bottom which can be used to make quick turns while in flight. The regal purple wings tend to have that can grow to a 6-9 feet long.
Brown wings are the most common wing type who aren't usually noticed in everyday life and are just normal people however they do tend to have a very reassuring presence these are almost always beta's with the exception of a very few alphas (although these alphas are a lot less dominant and are a lot weaker) they tend to gather in large congregations of other brown wings and they are usually just the normal working class with a few exceptions. Brown wings have a very average wingspan of 4-6 feet.
White wings are easily the most iconic wing type in all of the avian world. However, this wing type is very mysterious, with their only form of history being seen in folklore and art carvings. White wings are always omegas and unfortunately, hundreds of wars caused by their striking white wings have resulted in this already rare wing type to dwindle down. With white wings being only 1% of the total population nowadays. Avians who have encountered a white wing in heat report that they have off an almost intoxicating scent and they become almost irestible when their wings are visible. Their wingspan can grow up to 5-13 feet long.
So on and so forth
The White wing preservation act: In order to preserve this practically extinct wing type a world wide order was issued in 1958 stating that from them forth, when a white wing is discovered the government has the right to seize them from their guardian. And place them in the "white wing protection program" until they reach the legal mating age. Then they are placed with a government approved mate or mates, once the claiming and clipping process has commenced the white wing expected to produce many off-spring. Offspring produced by a white wing parent almost always have a higher chance of being stronger and more intelligent then almost all other subtypes of avian. Anyone found harboring a white wing runs the risk of being jailed for up to 70 years to life.
Claiming is when an Alpha bites the nape of a Omega marking them as theirs this is like marrying a person when an Alpha bites the nape of an Omega they are bonded meaning that they can no longer leave their bonded mates. An Omega can have up to 5 bonded mates but more than 2 mates can put a lot of strain on an Omegas mind,causing them to go into heat drop if they feel they aren't being given enough love or attention from their mates.
Heat drop is when an omega feels neglected to an extreme extent by their mate or mates this causes their scent to sour and their body to heat up if the Omega is not given treatment their feathers will begin to work and fall of their wings and they will be racked with fevers and headaches. If the Omega is still not given proper medical attention their body will begin to shut down resulting in their death.
Clipping is when an avians flight feathers are cut making said avian unable to take flight but dont worry in a few months the feathers cut will have grown back and they will be capable of flight once more. It is mostly used to keep prisoners from escaping and to keep white wings grounded unable to escape the government or their mate though using for anything other than these reasons is illegal.
