Chapter Text
Tom knew this was going happen but that didn’t mean he wasn’t amused to see Harry’s parents, his godfathers and his former Death Eater’s expressions. They looked shocked, surprised and happy after learning Harry wanted to give birth to their child, that he was one of the few who could.
Tom was sure he’d heard James moaning his sweet baby can’t give birth to another baby himself.
Severus had looked ready to faint when he saw his research on the potion. He knew he was good but he couldn’t help but feel smug when Severus asked to sit down for a while after reading about his healing potion. Sirius and Remus’ husbands, the Lestrange brothers were quite calm. It seemed even in this life, Rodolphus and Rabastan were not fazed by anything he could do. Its like they thought it would be strange if he couldn’t do something. Their father must have told them some things. He was sure of that.
Sirius was patting James, giving in dry comments as to calm his best friend. Remus and Rabastan were discussing the potion, giving in their own thoughts.
James was still trying to come to terms with the fact he had Veela and Fae blood.
“Well, no wonder about the veela part, we are all good-looking people,” James said proudly much to everyone’s amusement, “but fae part has even me stumped. I didn’t think those beings existed!”
Tom grinned, catching Remus’ fond gaze and Rabastan’s eye roll. Harry should have stayed here. His family was taking the news quite well, they were good at dissolving the tension.
Harry had shut himself in their room after telling them his wish, refusing to be there for the rest of the conversation, he was mortified enough when he’d shyly admitted to wanting to have Tom’s child in front of his parents and the rest of his family (Sirius, Remus, Rodolphus Rabastan, Severus and Regulus).
“Basilisk venom, huh.” Snape nodded to himself, “that should be good enough to cancel the after effects of this particular plant.” He looked at Riddle, “you do realise it’s almost like only you could think of something like this. Basilisks are exceedingly rare.” He paused, “we might be the only ones to have seen one without dying. You and Harry are an exception, he is your husband and bonded to you in the ancient ways of wizard kind. Normal people don’t live to tell the tale.”
Tom smiled, “that is true, Severus.”
“Ah, my love is so intelligent, always laying facts out for everyone to understand,” Regulus draped himself on his partner who smiled a little at his statement, wrapping his arm around Regulus who grinned at the gesture. He turned back to Tom. “I’ll look more into it today, Riddle. I doubt I will find anything wrong but still.”
“We all will. We are all quite good at potions, son in law,” James added, an easy smile on his face. Lily, Sirius, Remus, Rodolphus and Rabastan nodded in assent.
“He is our beloved child.” Sirius said, a fond look in his eyes as he looked in the direction of the stairs where Harry had gone off to. “He is my heir as well, we’ll make sure your husband is absolutely safe, Riddle.”
Tom smiled slightly, for once not feeling regret in the company of Harry’s family.
Harry was really loved and that fact only made him happy for his husband, that his darling love had so many people who cared so much for him.
He was glad he was able to give Harry his parents and family back.
“You could have stayed, you know,” Tom said, leaning forward to lay a kiss on the side of Harry’s head, the gesture eliciting sweet sigh from the younger male. “I know, but it was just—”
He met Tom’s gaze and grinned sheepishly, “telling you is one thing but it’s completely different admitting that to my parents and family.”
Tom laughed, tugging Harry closer who happily snuggled into him. “Well, they took it really well. As I told you, they were very happy to provide any insight they could on the potion. They told you that themselves at dinner as well.”
Harry nodded, “I know they love me.” He smiled to himself, “I am happy they are my family.”
Tom’s eyes softened, “and I am happy I could give them back to you. My offer still stands. Our children may drink Elixir whenever they wish, and same stands true for your parents and family.” He smiled wryly, “you and I don’t need that, no matter what we have to say in public.”
Harry raised his head to meet Tom’s gaze, “I know you meant it. Wizard kind live very long, but it’d be nice if they could live even longer.”
Tom leaned down to lay a kiss on Harry’s head, “you need only say a word, Harry. I’ll grant whatever you wish.”
He could understand Harry’s desire to be with his parents and family as long as he could.
He and Harry were immortal. Truly immortal.
Harry was soul bonded to him through ancient wiccan wedding vows which made Harry immortal as well through his horcruxes. Of course, people thought elixir flowed through Harry’s veins like it supposedly did in his but that wasn’t the case.
Sometimes he thought he and Harry really had quite a few things to choose from for being immortal. Horcruxes, Elixir and Deathly Hallows.
He had been very shocked to learn he was actually the master of the Elder Wand and Resurrection stone while his darling husband had the Cloak of Invisibility.
He had figured out what the cloak was after he had casually felt Harry’s cloak one day. It had the same markings as the wand he had won from Dumbledore.
Then he had not stopped searching much to Harry’s dismay.
Reluctantly, Harry had pointed out that Peverell’s had the same rune mark as their family coat of arms. The mark present on the stone in the ring, on his wand and on Harry’s cloak, a triangle enclosing a circle and a line bisecting them.
Tom had literally buried his face in his hands in mortification when he had seen the mark on the Resurrection stone. Harry was the one who had told him about it as well.
Next time when he’d met Dumbledore at the ministry the old man had just smiled kindly at him before apologizing and patting his shoulder.
“You deserve it, my boy. I wish nothing but best for you and your husband. May you and Harry be happy forever. I am not right about everything, Tom.” He smiled sadly, “and I am glad I was wrong.”
He’d been shocked when he hadn’t felt even a tiniest bit of anger. He had simply smiled and shaken Dumbledore’s hand.
“Dad was feeling very pleased at the dinner,” Tom turned to his husband who seemed to be hiding his smile. “About what, darling?”
Now that he thought about it, James had been smiling a whole lot today for some reason.
Harry snickered, “he is very happy to know he has the blood of faes and veelas. There really aren’t that many people who can say that.”
Tom grinned, “ah, he did say the same when you ran away.”
Harry glared at Tom for the comment which only made Tom smirk, his silver eyes shining in amusement. “Ah come on, sweetheart don’t look like that. You did run.”
Harry pursed his lips into a thin line, the action only making Tom laugh louder, “you are enjoying this way too much, Voldemort.”
Voldemort threw his head back and laughed, the beautiful sight making Harry smile too. He was happy to see Tom so carefree, so relaxed, so open with his emotions.
He shook his head and leaned in to rest his head on Tom’s chest. As long as he and Tom are happy, nothing else mattered.
Voldemort pulled Harry closer, leaning down to lay a kiss on his head.
Harry was the reason he was happy; the younger man was the only one who could ever make him smile from his heart.
Two days later, Snape handed the sheets containing the detailed method of the healing potion back to Tom.
“As we already knew, it’s perfect,” he looked at Harry and Tom and smiled wryly, “you really do care for our Harry very much, Riddle. It’s quite apparent.”
Harry ducked his head to hide his embarrassment as his father and mother embraced him, showering him with kisses, making Sirius, Rodolphus, Remus and Rabastan laugh. Regulus snickered at seeing the kid being hugged by James and Sirius next, both the men ruffling his messy hair.
“Of course I do.” Tom replied, his tone soft but conveying he meant every word.
Snape nodded, “well, its absolutely fine. We all went through it, there really is no way it wouldn’t work. Do you have someone in mind who could take it?”
Tom nodded slowly, a fond grin sliding on his face as Harry finally freed himself from his father and godfather’s embrace and came to sit next to Tom, making his parents and uncles laugh.
“I do actually. An acquaintance of mine,” Tom shrugged, “he might know one or two omegas. Their alpha mates have agreed to take the potion on the condition they are tested first on Pegasi. As you know Pegasus can breed among their own sex too. The foal is born around nine months, same as humans. Another trusted friend of mine who works with magical creatures has offered to help, he’ll give the potion to the bearer Pegasus during the pregnancy and after to see it’s working as it should.”
“I know someone who could help too,” Rodolphus said, making Tom turn towards him. “I know a few veelas, well,” he grinned wryly, “wizards who are part veela to be exact. I can contact them, few of them already had children, there is a good chance one or two of them might be expecting again.” He looked at his husband who was already looking at him, a fond smile on his face. Seeing Sirius happy made Rodolphus smile as well.
“Sirius and I can go and talk to them in person. They are good friends of mine. They’ll be happy to take the potion too once it’s been tested. Harry will be alright.”
“You don’t mean Andreas and Raphael, do you?” Rabastan asked, his arm casually draped over Remus’ shoulder.
Rodolphus turned to his younger brother, “yes, I am talking about them actually, and Gabriel and Ivan.”
“Huh.” Rabastan turned to his husband, a wide grin on his face, “what do you say, love? Do you fancy a trip to Switzerland and France to meet our friends?”
Remus’ eyes widened, “you want me to come as well? Wouldn’t it be better for you to go alone?”
Rabastan shrugged, “not really. They are good people, you only met them once at our wedding so it’s no wonder you don’t remember them. You can get to know each other. Not to mention you have to eat the truffles and souffles Ivan’s sister makes. They are just the best.” His gaze swept around the room, “in fact all of you can come, except for Harry and Tom of course.” His gaze landed on Severus, “you are the best out of all us at potions, Snape. They’d feel better if you were there too.”
Severus shared a look with Regulus who shrugged, “sure, we can go. We have a villa in Nice. We can stay there. James and Rodolphus both have properties in Interlaken, so we are all set.”
James nodded, “that’s not a bad idea actually, we haven’t gone out in a while.” He looked at his wife, “what do you say, Lily? Do you wish to go?”
Lily smiled, “of course, it’ll only help them and our Harry.”
James’ grin widened, “exactly.” He glanced at his son, his eyes shining with mischief, “you and Tom better not get down to making any child while we are gone.”
The room erupted into laughter as Harry groaned, hiding his face in his hands. His husband’s quiet laughter only adding to his embarrassment and happiness.
He shyly glanced at his husband whose gaze was already on him, a soft, warm smile on his handsome face.
He really did love Tom so much.
