Earth 2107
The Arbiter held this world's Jason Lee Scott by throat, crushing it.
"JASON!" Tommy Oliver called out. Arbiter tanked his teammates blaster.
He stabbed Trini Kwan of this Earth in the thigh before slicing her head in half.
"TRINI!" Kimberly Ann Hart shouted in horror. Arbiter was ruthless, grabbing Zachary Taylor's power axe before slamming it down on him, crushing his skull. He avoided Billy Cranston's power lance before stabbing him in the gut.
"Oh no" Kimberly whispered in horror. Arbiter walked over her and Tommy menacingly, towering over their forms, the two of them laying down.
"The Power Rangers..." Arbiter raised his blade up high. They closed their eyes, accepting their fate. "...Are no more!"
Arbiter brought his blade down on them, killing them both in slash.
"It would seem you haven't lost your touch, Arbiter." The Ranger Hunter turned to look at Mar Novu, the Monitor.
"Novu." Arbiter growled. The two had come across each other and the Ranger hunter utterly despised the Cosmic being. If he wasn't so dedicated to his mission of hunting Rangers, he might just kill Novu here and now but he must keep moving.
"I'm sure there is a part of you wondering why I am here." Mar Novu said carefully.
"Whatever it is, I do not care to be involved in your games, Mar Novu." Arbiter said, walking away.
"Even if involves Power Rangers?" Novu inquired. Arbiter stopped dead in his track.
'Hook, line and sinker.' Novu mused to himself.
Arbiter slowly turned to Novu.
"I'm listening." Arbiter said neutrally.
"There is this Earth. Some of the most powerful Rangers exist on this Earth." Novu explained, showing visions of said Earth, Earth 1993.
"And why do you tell me of this?" Arbiter inquired, knowing Novu never gave out information such as this for not good reason.
"Those reasons are my own." Novu said coldly. "Do you accept this or not?"
Arbiter merely stared at Novu, his helmet not giving away anything to the Monitor.
"... Very well." Arbiter conceded, the words tasting like bile (if he remembered what it tasted like after so long) in his throat. "What is this Earth's Desgination?'
"Earth 1993."
Earth Prime, Gotham City
Bruce looked mere seconds away from having brain anuerysm.
Sitting in front of his study was one of his sons, Tim Drake, along with his Girlfriend Rose Wilson and his two one time lovers (or so he thought) lovers, Barbara Gordon and Helena Bertinelli.
It wasn't because they had informed him they're now seeing each other. Oh, he was happy for them.
What did however make him feel this way is the fact that all three were pregnant with Tim's children after their tryst with Tim three months ago on the latter's 19th birthday.
"Uh... B?" Tim asked, looking extremely nervous. Bruce said nothing.
He slowly got up and went to where he had his Alcohol for show and in the times were he desperately needed some like now.
He drank some of Bourbon, ignoring the burn in his throat.
"Tim..." Bruce said suddenly, making all four of them jump slightly. "Is this what you want?"
Tim furrowed his brows in confusion. Bruce sighed.
"Is this... the babies what you want? Do you think you're ready to be a parent? Are you ready for those responsibilities when you're very young yourself?" Bruce inquired, not against it but also not the biggest supporter.
"....Yes." Tim said after a moment.
"And you three? Are you ready to be the parents these children deserve?" Bruce asked Rose, Barbara and Helena.
Despite some hesitation, they nodded in yes.
"Alright." Bruce sighed. "I'll help in any way but we've already got out hands full with Terry and Helena along with accommodating Jacob while Dick searches for a good apartment in Bludhaven."
"Honestly, I think he should stay in Gotham instead of going back to that hell hole." Helena said.
"After all the things he's gone through in that place, I wonder if he should even be in that CIty." Barbara mused.
"We talk about it but Dick wants to go to Bludhaven but I think he should let Jacob stay here till the City has been cleaned up a bit more." Rose snorted at Bruce's admission.
"When will that hell hole ever be cleaned up?" Rose asked rhetorically.
"Still, you're going tell Selina and the others, Tim." Bruce said to his son.
"Why though?" Tim couldn't help but ask.
"Cause Selina will castrate me."
Shirai Ryu Fire Gardens
Jason was in the middle of teaching new Shirai Ryu initiates, wishing to gauge where they were in terms of skill at the Request of the Grandmaster.
"Alright. Some of you show potential, other shows prior training and others show none of that. However, you'll starting from complete scratch. For now, give me 25 push ups, sit ups, and 25 seconds plank... now." Jason said, the initiates going to as they were told.
"It would seem you're much better at teach than you give yourself credit for." Hanzo Hasashi noted, walking up next to Jason.
"Well, when I was younger, I did want to be an English teacher for young kids." Jason said with a shrug.
"In any case, your father would be proud of the man you have become, Jason." Hanzo said, placing a hand on the young man's shoulder.
"Thank you, Grandmaster." Jason said humbly.
"Call me Hanzo, Jason. You have more than earned it." Hanzo said with a smile.
Asgard, Norway
Thor landed in front of the town his people had been using for after the destruction of the Old Asgard. In front of him was King T'Challa of Wakanda and King Arthur (or Orin as his people knew him as) of Atlantis alongside their royal guard.
"King T'Challa. King Orin. I welcome you to my people's home. A shame it is not as Great as the old Asgard." Thor said the last part wishfully.
"That is alright, King Thor. After being surrounded by such high class, humble places are perhaps better suited for our talks." T'Challa said amicably.
"Follow me then." Thor led the two monarchs into his personal meeting room, his brother awaiting him there.
"Loki..." Thor trailed off, his brother laid back with his arms behind his head and legs on the table. That wasn't what bothered Thor.
No, it was Loki playing chess with an illusion of himself.
"What?" Loki asked with a slight smirk. "I got bored. You took your time, Brother."
Thor sighed while the King of Wakanda and Atlantis looked amused.
Loki dispelled the illusion of himself and the chess board.
"Better?" Loki asked with hands motioning to the now clean table.
"Significantly." Thor acquiesced. He motioned for the two monarchs to sit down.
"Now, let us discuss this alliance of ours." Arthur began.
Star City
Green Arrow avoided Onomatopoeia's side arms. The Assassin who be contracted by the remnants of the Ninth Circle to assassinate Emiko Queen, a former member of theirs.
Onomatopoeia had one of his bullets richote, hitting Oliver in the thigh.
'Fuck.' Oliver noted, feeling the muscle being torn slightly. Thankfully, it didn't nick an artery.
The Assassin was then blasted away by an exploding arrow sending him flying away.
Emiko landed next to her brother, looking over his wound.
"You alright?" Emiko asked.
"I told you to stay back at the Bunker." Oliver said through clenched teeth.
"I know." Emiko said remorsefully. "But I didn't want you to pay for my mistakes, Ollie. You deserve better than that."
Oliver's eyes soften on his younger sister. Before he says anything, he hears Onomatopoeia reloading his guns.
"Hey, asshole!" The Assassin turned to see Peacemaker slamming into him like a human torpedo.
Onomatopoeia hit the wall of the roof hard. He hit the ground face first out cold.
Chris took of his helmet, shaking his head.
"Forgot how much that sucks." Chris tucked his helmet to his side. He walked over to Oliver and Emiko. "You good, Robin Hood?"
Oliver groaned. He was not Robin Hood...
"Denial." Emiko said in a sing songy voice, knowing exactly what her brother was thinking.
"I'm removing you and the others from my will if you keep saying that." Oliver remarked.
"Sure..." Emiko said, not believing her brother for a second.
Vigilante landed on the roof soon after.
"Hey, you good, Arrow?" Adrian asked.
"Yeah. Think he might have torn through the muscle though." Oliver said, hissing when Emiko was checking the wound.
"I'm calling Merlyn." Chris said.
"It's Rhodes now." Emiko corrected him. Chris looked at her in confusion. "Tommy decided to change his name. He did try to live but he still lived in shame at his father's actions. He wanted to start fresh with a name new and so he used his mother's maiden name, Rhodes."
Chris nodded in understanding, calling the newly name Tommy Rhodes.
Adrian helped Emiko get Oliver up.
"I'm getting to old for this shit." Oliver grumbled.
"No, what have many of us been telling you for the past few years but, you being the stubborn mule that you are, have refused." Emiko retorted.
"Crisis is coming, Emi. After that, perhaps retirement is in order." Oliver conceded.
Xavier Mansion
Logan was in the balcony of his room, smoking a cigar in peace.
"Logan, how many times have I told you not to smoke on school grounds?" Charles Xavier inquired, wheeling into the Feral Canadian mutants room. "It leaves a bad impression on the children."
"Yeah, which is why I mostly smoke here." Logan reminded him. "What's going on Charles?"
"Merely wishing to see why you took the day off. You do have history to teach, Logan." Charles said.
"Yeah, yeah." Logan inhaled a whiff of his cigar before letting out a puff of smoke. "Who you ask to Substitute?"
"Captain Rogers was very amicable in substituting to day as was Mrs. Prince." Charles informed the Adamantium clawed mutant.
"Figures." Of course a WWII vet and fricking princess of the Amazons would have no problem teaching history.
"What is bothering you old friend?" Charles inquired.
"Nothing... just..." Logan trailed off. He closed his eyes, remembering Stryker's experiments one him. He didn't know why he was remembering them so violently now but he felt there was some damn reason for it. Even though Stryker has been dead for years.
Charles, seeing the haunted look in Logan's, decided not to press further.
"Will you be available tomorrow or might I ask Mrs. Prince and Captain Rogers to substitute you again?" Charles asked as he wheeled out of the room.
"No... I'll handle my class tomorrow though if they want to stay and help. I won't complain too much." Logan grumbled. He liked teaching itself but he hated the paper work. Any help on that front was always appreciated.
Charles nodded. He soon left Logan in his room with his thoughts.
Earth 197, Coruscant
Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano and Obi Wan Kenobi slumped down on the former's apartment living room. They had just come back from a long mission in the outer rim and helping Mandalore further consolidate it's power base after all this time.
They had given their report to the Council and had then come back straight here.
Padme Amidala and Satine Kryze entered a few moments, equally as exhausted as the Jedi.
"How was your day, Angel?" Anakin asked his wife.
"As tiring as I can imagine yours was though of a different variety." Padme replied, cuddling with Anakin.
"And the mission?" Satina inquired.
"The Black Sun and Pykes aren't going to be too much trouble. Not after we blew up their ill gotten goods and various storage facilities of its ilk." Obi Wan informed the two politicians.
"And How was yours, Padme? Senator being as Dante so eloquently put it, a bunch of finger fucking each other douche bags?" Anakin snorted with Obi Wan barely keeping it. Satine looked highly amused as did Padme though the former did have a slightly offended look.
"A vulgar yet accurate description, Ahsoka." Padme conceded.
"Hey, where's Luke?" Padme asked suddenly, looking around for her alternate son.
"He's been watching the young ones. He has a surprising amount of experiencing."
"That's cause Leia always asked me to babysit her ad Han's kids." Luke walked into the room, holding Leia in both arms while he had Luke float in the air, who looked content. "Not to mention me and my wife had a son ourselves, Ben."
"Who is your wife?" Anakin inquired, pointedly ignoring the fact he was a Grandpa before he turned 25. How fucking joyous...
"Mara Jade." Luke chuckled to himself in reembrace of the fiery red head. "One of the most stubborn and downright infuriating but also loyal and caring person you could ever have for a partner. She still does not of my current whereabouts and I suspect once she, she'll no doubt have my head on a pike."
"I know the feeling." Obi Wan said half jokingly. Satine smacked his arm lightly.
"We've got food!" Rex, Fives, Cody, Jesse, Kix, and the Bad Batch entered the room, carrying food from Dexter's diner.
"Damn, been a while since I've had food from Dexter's." Ahsoka mused, feeling her stomach growl.
"Indeed. Not the most healthy but certainly delicious." Obi Wan remarked.
"Are you sure we're allowed to eat this?" Satine gestured to the amount of greasy food.
"What do you mean? It's great stuff!" Wrecker inquired.
"It tastes good but it nowhere near the healthiest food you should eat, Wrecker." Tech pointed out.
"Eh, let him have this." Crosshairs whispered to the Smart one of the Bad Batch.
"Come on now, don't tell you're afraid of a little greasy food. Has the Duchess gotten to use to fine dining?" Obi Wan teased. A look entered Satine's eyes, one that made Obi Wan look slightly worried.
"I'll show you, dear Ben." Satine said, walking to makeshift table to accommodate all the people.
Anakin and even some of the clones made a slight gagging noise.
"That's where it came from?" Luke asked in shock.
Cybertron
Optimus was in the middle of learning how to use more effectively his new ring. He had been training the past month after receiving from the late Hal Jordan.
Hal's old friends and fellow Lanterns, Kilowog, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, and Tomar Re were helping him.
"Got to say. For a guy who's only had the ring for a month, you sure use it like a pro." Guy remarked.
"Yeah. Makes me look bad." Jessica added.
"Your constructs may not be the most creative but they're certainly effective." Kilowog acknowledged.
"Hal Jordan would most definitely have been honored to have you as his successor." Tomar Re complimented.
"Thank you. Your kind words mean much to me. I vow to honor his legacy as best I can." Optimus said humbly.
"So you're Hal's successor?" The Green Lanterns looked to see Sinestro hovering above them, his arm cross around his chest, a hint of disdain for Optimus in his eyes.
"Thaal Sinestro of Korugar. I did not expect to see you on Cybertron." Optimus said carefully.
"When I heard Hal Jordan had been killed and his ring had found a new bearer so quickly, I thought some Human practical joke." Sinestro said, looking Optimus eye to optic. "I never thought a Cybertronian much less a Prime would wield one, let alone Hal Jordan and Abin Sur's ring."
"The Ring choose him, Thaal. Hal died doing his duty as a Green Lantern, a duty and oath you abandon years ago." John growled.
"I merely wish to see if he is as worthy as the ring thinks he is." Sinestro said, forming a construct around his entire body. It created a giant Cybertronian around Optimus height.
Sinestro went to punch Optimus but the Prime grabbed his fist.
"Do you have any idea how many years I have fought, Sinestro?" Optimus inquired in a deadly calm voice.
Sinestro struggled great. He went to punch him again but Optimus grabbed the fist.
"I have been in battle for centuries. Fighting, killing and sometimes even torturing my fellow Cybertronians all because of my former brother in arms believe himself to be worthy of the Matrix of Leadership when he in fact was." Optimus punched a hole in Sinestro's construct.
"Hal Jordan was your friend but your lost the moment you abandon your oath and took up that yellow ring." Optimus said disgust.
"Leave my Planet alone, Sinestro. Both Earth and Cybertron or I will show you why I was chosen as the new Green Lantern of Sector 2814." Optimus said icily.
Thaal Sinestro of Korugar feel genuine fear go down his spine.
Optimus was known for his courage, kindness and unwavering loyalty but he was also known less the moment he could inspire fear, that could feel the Sinestro Corps for decades.
Sinestro flew like a dog with his tail behind his head.
Optimus turned around, seeing the shocked expression on his fellow Green Lanterns.
"Forgive me..."
"You're officially the greatest Lantern EVER!" Guy bellowed, much to their amusement though the others aside from Optimus did agree with his sentiment. What was basically a rookie in regards to being a Lantern made Sinestro turn back and run like a coward? That officially made him passed Kilowog's academy training.
Optimus shrugged. He was merely doing what has been chosen of him to do. Nothing more, nothing less.
